On our blog, we would also like to share some of the photos we made ourselves during various Tina Turner concerts. On January 30, 2009, Tina performed the first of three sold out concerts at Hamburg’s Color Line Arena. Click below to see a gallery of 78 photos taken during two of these concerts. 11 years ago today, Tina Turner performed during the pre-game show of the Superbowl at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, GA. This coincided with the promotion tour for her new Twenty Four Seven album and world tour, which would start 2 months later. Tina performed ‘When The Heartache Is Over’ and ‘Proud Mary’, joined for the first by her new backing vocalist: ER actress Gloria Reuben.

The Rolling Stones had a great influence on Tina Turner’s career. Tina was influenced by their music and covered their songs throughout her career (Honky Tonk Woman, Jumping Jack Flash, It’s Only Rock ‘N’ Roll, Out Of Time). Moreover, she was impressed by their capability to sell out arena’s and stadiums all over the world.
