So again, Tina wasn’t at Oprah’s Finale Show. But she was mentioned and seen a few times during the show. The Washington Post reports that” Oprah’s swan song garnered the show’s biggest audience in 17 years” but “final numbers of tv for Oprah’s finale won’t be available for more than a week. That’s how it goes in syndication.”
Anyway a few clin-d’oeil to Tina in front of millions of viewers, not that bad huh!

Today, the final episode of The Oprah Winfrey Show airs in the United States. Tina Turner was a frequent guest on that show, starting in 1997, when she was promoting her new Wildest Dreams album and tour. After that show, Oprah decided to take her show on the road, following Tina’s American tour, at the same time fulfilling dreams of viewers.

Tina Turner is currently in the studio recording the follow-up to the 2009 spiritual album Beyond. This is a special project she does with her friends Regula Curti and Dechen Shak-Dagsay. The album will be released later this year and will feature spiritual messages from Tina as well as prayers. A group of children will also co-operate in the project. The video is without sound and is part of a little contest. If you can guess three words that Tina is saying, you can receive a signed photo!
