When Tina asked her in 2008 to be a backing vocalist on her 50th Anniversary Tour, it was a dream come true for Nikki. The Tina Turner Blog spoke to her backstage in Berlin during the current Joe Cocker tour.

I Don’t Wanna Fight (No More)

 Tina Turner - I Don't Wanna Fight - 1993

Tina Turner - Private Dancer tour - 1985

She simply shouts out “TOO MUCH SMOKE!”, and gives her stage technician a piece of her mind, before continuing the song as if nothing has happened. Later during the show, she confesses to the audience that she is tired of performing Proud Mary – her self-acclaimed favorite song. Continue reading for more details on this show!
