Tina Turner – Sarvesham Svastir Bhavatu – video clip (updated November 20, 2011)

Here is a videoclip created by us for the mantra “Sarvesham Svastir Bhavatu”, sung by Tina Turner. This is one of the most powerful songs from the new album “Children Beyond”.  We used extracts from the “Children Beyond” documentary directed by Xaver Walser to create the clip. The mantra means “May well-being, peace, wholeness and tranquility, hapiness and prosperity be achieved by all”.

Sing it for peace of all sensitive beings, for calmness and harmony. Love has no boundaries… More details about the song & lyrics on YouTube!

Today: Tina Night on Arte!

Just to remind you that tonight franco-german channel Arte will broadcast Tina live in Rio 88 followed by a new documentary about Tina’s life. It seems that there won’t be any new Tina interview inside but let’s hope that we will have nice footage! We’ll put it online as soon as possible. Moreover, Tina is on the cover of the August issue of Arte Magazine. See inside the post for scans of the magazine and thanks to Anja for sending us copies!

New Tina Turner documentary on Arte – August 2, 2011

Some exciting news, Franco-German tv Channel ARTE will broadcast a brand new documentary (52 minutes long) about Tina’s life on August 2nd, 2011. For the first time she’ll talk about her life from Nutbush all the way to 2011 and  the documentary will also focus a lot on her Buddhist side.

The documentary was directed in 2011 by Stefan Morawietz and is entitled “Tina Turner – Simply the Best”. The concert “Tina live in Rio ’88″ will be broadcasted before the documentary.

ARTE is a very good channel and most of their documentaries are very nice so let’s hope it’s going to be as good as we wish ;-)
