It’s almost 2 years ago today that Tina Turner played the final of five shows at the Sportpaleis in Antwerp, Belgium. These shows, at the 15,000 seat arena, were among the fastest selling of the tour. All five shows were sold out within an hour after they went on sale. Despite the fast sales, the audiences were quiet and remained seated during most of the show. However, Tina was able to win them over by the end of the night. After seeing Tina 3 times in the UK , you ain’t experienced nothing in a concert until the vibrating speakers at the start of Proud Mary !!!!

This is the night her left heel got stuck in the floor during the “Better Be Good to Me” intro and she couldn’t move, so she just took the shoe off and kept on doing her thing. A crew guy jumped on stage, dislodged the shoe and put it back on her foot a la Cinderella. It was awesome.
