Tina Turner’s Foreign Affair tour in 1990 was the biggest concert tour in Europe that year. During this tour, Tina played literally all over Europe, many times in places where she never performed before. In this post, you will find a few photos and a newspaper article from Tina’s concert in Belgrade, Serbia. These photos were very kindly shared with us by Nikola, for him this concert was his first Tina concert.

This is a great concert and I love to watch it along with all her others. My favourite part of the concert is when she sings ‘I don’t wanna lose you’ with the audience. It always makes me shed a tear and it is one of my favorite songs. I agree with Helen about the ‘wildest dreams’ tour, it is also one of my favourite concerts. Thanks Ben,Sjef and Nickola for sharing.

I’m still wondering, why was this setlist so short (duration of concert? After that all tours setlist were longer (also duration of concerts).

Well, this was still the long setlist, with I Can’t Stand The Rain, What You Get Is What You See and Show Some Respect, so I think this show was about 1 hour 45 minutes, so it wasn’t that short. She played some festival shows in the summer of 1990 where she had to shorten her set a bit, so she cut I Can’t Stand The Rain, What You Get and Show Some Respect. And somewhere in September/October, she didn’t play those songs at all anymore (like on the Barcelona dvd). I guess she was very tired on this tour, especially towards the end, and the shorter set maybe had a better flow. But I agree that the final shows were a bit on the short side, especially for a stadium show!
