Hamburg, Germany – It was a rainy weekend in Hamburg but a small lull occurred when Rock Legend Tina Turner stood on the stage at the Premiere of TINA Das Musical. After attending the show the day before during Press Night, Tina showed up again at the end of the show, more briefly than the night before but thanking again the audience for coming and supporting the show!
As for the show in itself, the German version is almost identical to the London one apart from one major fact: all songs have been translated into German! It is, of course, a common practice in the world of musicals giving non-English speakers a different sound to Tina’s life but still getting the same emotional impact.
For a musical like “Mamma Mia!” This may work because it’s not a biographical piece. On the other hand, Tina’s songs and her life story are closely related not only in this musical. They are an inspiration and source of power for many of their fans.
Kristina Love who plays the part of TINA did a tremendous job and she will certainly bring the power needed to this highly demanding part in the long run.
With 150.000 tickets sold already, the show is now booking until May 2020.

So very proud of The legendary Ms. Tina my muse always. This strong woman has rewritten the script on how to remain devoted to career, family, fans, & much more. I certainly wanted to stop and take a second to thank her for being the elite example of how strong and classy an American woman from Tennessee can triump and persevere into a legend internationally for all younger women to take notes from. May her sweet spirit be contagious to us all, to love without boundaries and look dead gorgeous at which ever age she may be. I honor her so much! I thank you for giving me this opportunity to comment…an humble American /Arkansas fan!
