Still celebrating the 30th Anniversary of TINA’s Break Every Rule World Tour with an upload this week of selected songs from Tina’s performance at the Volksparkstadion in Hamburg, Germany on July 3rd, 1987. An audience recording of good quality if you consider it was recorded 30 years ago! Singing David Bowie’s ‘Girls’ and ‘It’s Only Love’ with John Miles, this concert tour is interesting on many levels: Tina performed in front of massive audiences in Europe and across the world, she sang certain songs she would never perform live again and unfortunately not that many footage of the Break Every Rule Tour have emerged. But let’s not lose hope to get our hands on more in the future and you can be sure you’ll find it on Tina Turner Blog! And if you want to get a better experience with the audio below, I would advice you to use headphones.
Tonight, when I arrived I looked out and I saw so many people, I felt good! Thank You for coming!

Tina Live in Hamburg – Break Every Rule- July 1987
26 years ago today, Tina Turner performed three songs on Dutch television. She appeared on a TV-show for the promotion of album sales in the Netherlands, called the ‘Platen 10 Daagse’. She presented two songs from her new record Break Every Rule: Typical Male and Two People, as well as the classic Private Dancer. Tina is introduced by television presenter Ron Brandsteder, and she also appears in the finale of the show. Above you can see the performance of Typical Male, continue reading for the videos of Two People and Private Dancer.
A classic from the Break Every Rule tour: Tina Turner performing Two People, live at Rockódromo de la Casa de Campo in Madrid, Spain. The show was broadcast in parts live on the radio, on May 17, 1987. Unfortunately, the radio DJ’s finds it necessary to talk in between, but also during the songs, as if reporting on a football match. Therefore, the beginning of this audio track is slightly ruined, but what is left is still a very nice version of ‘Dos Personas’, the second European single of Tina’s 1986 Break Every Rule album. Enjoy!
