Last night, Tina Turner appeared on ‘Oprah’s Next Chapter’, her first televised interview since her retirement from the concert stage in 2009. The program focused mainly on her life after hanging up her dancing shoes: the gaining of Swiss citizenship , her Vogue cover and of course her recent marriage to long-time boyfriend Erwin Bach. In a rare public appearance, the newlywed Bach also sat down together with his wife to reflect on their 25 year relationship. Oprah Winfrey not only asked Tina about recent events, but also about Tina’s unhappy first marriage to Ike Turner. The rock star also looked back on her last ‘farewell’ tour in 2009. The question on everybody’s lips: will there be a return to the spotlights? While Tina didn’t give a definite ‘no’, it seems more unlikely than ever, with Tina claiming that during her last world tour she was often ‘tired of singing and dancing’. Tina Turner is back! At least on American Tv… She sat down with good friend Oprah for “Oprah’s Next Chapter” that will air August 25th 2013 on OWN. This will be Tina Turner’s 6th tv interview with Oprah. 2013 is getting better and better for Tina Turner’s fans. We are all already very exited about this great news and can’t wait to learn more about it!

So what we heard back in March is getting real next week: Tina Turner (73) and her longtime companion Erwin Bach (57) are finally getting married. Although Tina always stated that she would never marry again it looks like she has changed her mind. After relinquishing her U.S nationality for Swiss naturalisation earlier this year, the retired singer is putting everything in order in her life. Spending her life between her Swiss “Chateau Algonquin ” and her Villa “Anna Fleur” on the French riviera, Turner hasn’t record any new material since her 1999 album “Twenty Four Seven”. She made a last final tour back in 2008/2009 and totally vanished once again after it.
Now, worldwide medias (Bunte magazine first) are reporting the news that Tina Turner and Erwin got married last month and were having a big celebration on July 21st 2013.

The school house will serve as an interactive experience for children in the area, as well as adults, to help them learn more about their heritage. Tina Turner (73) is set to marry long-time partner Erwin Bach (57) this year, according to a report in Swiss tabloid newspaper Blick today. The ceremony will take place directly at the lake of Zürich (in their garden?). Food is provided by Chefs Rico Zandonella and Horst Petermann of Tina’s favorite restaurant ‘Rico’s Kunststuben’. And the dress-code: white.
