Tina in Rotterdam – September 2016
Tina was spotted today in Rotterdam, attending the opening of Peter Lindbergh photo exhibition. Tina has been photographed many times by the artist, their most famous collaboration being the Hanes campaign and the Missing You video clip that Lindbergh shot in 1996.
Our Queen looks totally stunning at nearly 77 (don’t forget the #TINA77 hashtag on Nov.26) and these pictures are a boost of energy for all of us fans! Thanks to the all the photographers who shared their pic on Instagram.

Planting Seeds Of Mindfulness
Planting Seeds of Mindfulness is an animated movie based on a bestselling book by world renowned zen master Thich Nhat Hanh.
The story: Jasper, age 16, a vietnamese- african- american teenager and his family has just moved to a new neighbourhood to be closer to Jasper´s charming and wise zen master like grandfather. At his new school, Jasper is confronted with bullying, anger and stress. Jasper uses the pebble meditation practice that his grandfather taught him to transform his relationships at school and at home.
What does it have to do with Tina Turner? Well first it is a wonderful project, Thich Nath Hanh is a well respected Zen Master, who had a tremendous life and now lives in Plum village in the south of France were people from around the world gather to receive his teachings. And secondly, the songs of the album Children Beyond will be used as a soundtrack for the movie. Tina’s friends and collaborators on the Beyond albums, Regula Curti & Dechen Shak-Dagsay even added their voices to two characters from the movie!

Tina Turner and her husband Erwin Bach were spotted at the French most elegant Ousteau De Baumanière located in the Les Baux de Provence! Happy cuisine staff even got the chance to have their photo taken with the legendary singer!

A very nice and candide shot of Tina Turner (76) emerged today on Instagram! Taken earlier today in the streets of Zurich, it seems that the Rock legend graciously agreed to pose in front of a young admirer! Not very Swiss protocole but let’s admit it, it must have taken some guts and the guy got lucky!
Anyway, always nice to see Miss Turner unexpectedly, looking happy & healthy!

Tina at Dutch Musical Awards

Tina Turner made her first tv appearance since 2013 tonight at the Dutch Musical Awards as a special surprise for producer Joop Van Den Ende. The 76 years old singer appeared in great form and gave an a special award to Joop for his achievement in the Dutch musical business for the past 50 years. It turned out that Iris van den Ende, the daughter of Joop and Janine van den Ende, arranged that Tina Turner would come to present the award to Joop!
Joop Van den Ende is currently preparing a musical about Tina Turner’s life.

Tina turns the lights on

Remember last year when we wrote that Tina was offering Christmas decoration for her city Kusnacht, in Zurich’s neighborhood? Until then the Seestrass, were Tina lives, didn’t have any! But today,the Queen of Rock attended a little celebration with Kusnacht mayor Markus Ernst and turned on the decorations lights for this year which was followed by a “Wow” from that “unmistakable throaty voice”. The Legend, nearly 76 looked radiant in black and we’re happy to see her looking so fine!
Tina was accompanied by her husband Erwin Bach who said goodbye on behalf of both with the words:
“We wish peace in the world at Christmas”
We also wish everybody a peaceful Christmas next month, a joyful Thanksgiving and of course a very Happy Birthday to Tina!

TINA Musical Project
Queen has “We Will Rock You”, Abba has “Mama Mia”, Gloria Estefan just launched her “Get on Your Feet” show…. Musical blockbusters!
Tina Turner’s life has already been portrayed a few times on stage but never a big dimension project. However it seems like things are going to change… After years of mentioning it in several interviews, a real project with an official involvement from Tina herself will probably see the light of the day in the near future thanks to Dutch theatrical producer Joop Van Den Ende.
If it does happen that means that Tina will also get involved in promoting the musical in some sort of way so that’s something to look forward to!

By Ben – Today marks the anniversary of the release last year, of the third album of the so far Beyond trilogy “Beyond, Love Within“. With Tina’s participation on a few songs, the result was once again excellent and haunting; Bringing back her gospel roots while mixing it with her buddhist faith, a challenge for Turner who add another feather in her cap in World Music thanks to the creativity of good friend Regula Curti and the work of Swiss music producer Roland Frei.
Today, we focus once again on ‘Love Within’ but with a new and special upload! The “Heavenly Home” mix version of “Mother Within’ that was not included in the album. A shorter and bit more up-tempo version of the song to put it in a nutshell!
And for the occasion and for all your delight, a new video for the song created by Ben! Enjoy!
