One of the most ingenious creative talents of our generation has passed away: David Bowie. Friend, collaborator and admirer of Tina Turner. We thank him for his inspiration, his talent, his music and his charm. And for the most sizzling duet in rock history. Rest in peace, David.

  1. I’m devastated. My heart and condolences to his family. He was a great talent. He was my Hero. Tina, much love to you. I’m know what you are going tru since he was a good friend. If I could, I’d walk over and give you a big hug. We can cry together and make the Gold Coast into a river of tears.

  5. He was a Rock God and Legend. My first thought after hearing this was, “How is Tina handling it?” She always counted him as one of the biggest reasons she was able to get a new record contract and company interest in producing Private Dancer. To think it was either she or Bowie that would play The Acid Queen in Tommy…they were bumping in to each other even then…at least we have, “Tonight’ and “Girls”, which Bowie wrote specifically for Tina.
