Lyrics

Live baby live
Now that the day is over
I gotta new sensation
In perfect moments
Well so impossible to refuse

Sleep baby sleep
Now that the night is over
And the sun comes like a god
Into our room
All perfect light and promises

Gotta hold on you
A new sensation, a new sensation
Right now
It’s gonna take you over
A new sensation, a new sensation

Dream baby dream
Of all that’s come and going
And you will find out, in the end
There really is
There really is no difference

Cry baby cry
When you got to get it out
I’ll be your shoulder, you can tell me all
Don’t keep it in ya
Well that’s the reason why I’m here

Hey hey, are you ready for
A new sensation, a new sensation
Right now
Gonna take you on a new sensation, a new sensation
(Trumpet)

A new sensation, hey hey hey hey-ee-ey-ee-ey-ee-ey, a new sensation

A new sensation
Hate baby hate
When there’s nothing left for you
You’re only human, what can you do?
It’ll soon be over
Don’t let your pain take over you

Love baby love
It’s written all over your face
There’s nothing better we could do
Than live forever
Well that’s all we’ve got to do

Hey now
I’m gonna take you over, a new sensation, a new sensation
Right now
Gotta hold on you a new sensation, a new sensation
A new sensation, a new sensation

A new sensation

  1. Hey people! This is a fantastic song for her!
Before singing this song, Tina says she´s doing it for the guys, and the guys say yeah! I don´t unserstand why did she do this song that day. Can anybody tell me more about it? Thanks a lot!!

    1. I’m not exactly sure why she is singing that song. Maybe it was just a song that Tina or one of her band members liked and they decided to rehearse and play it just for the fun of it. I think it’s really a good song for Tina to sing, so whoever’s idea it was, it was a good one!

  2. I love this song, it suits Tina perfectly. I love the photo of her and also the photo for the ‘show some respect’ post.

  3. Hi! I have been at that show. She had a piece of paper with the lyrics in her hands. She did 2 shows in Oldenburg, but she did the song only once. Besides: In the beginning of the FA tour she always came down to the fans to sing “Better be good” like she did with Nutbush in 1996 etc. But at the first night in Oldenburg a girl grabbed into Tinas hair so she didn’t come down the next day. And I think she never came down again on the FA tour, or? Cannot remember…

  5. … and after she arrives at the hall very very quick she was on stage to rehearse… but nobody else was there…Very tiny with a ponytail and without high heels. LOL. She ate peanuts and rehearsed a little for herself and me and my sister ;-). After a long while the band finally came and the last was Kenny Moore. She shouted angry: “Who can drink all night can come punctual too! And now lets start!” 😉
