Sold out concerts and wildly enthusiastic fans in 13 cities: this was the third and so far most successful tour of American soul-and-rock-couple Ike & Tina Turner. Bravo shows you the show in word and picture.

Already the opening act, the 8-piece band of Ike & Tina, is of the highest class! The musicians get the crowd going with a horn section, two guitars, electric piano, bass and drums. All of the sudden, three gorgeous young ladies in super short dresses fly across the stage: The Ikettes. They translate the booming, thrilling sound of the band into movement, into action.
But this is just the appetizer for the actual show, for the stars Ike & Tina. Ike Turner is the one directing the whole show. His wife is the center of attention. Like a cat she leaps from behind the curtains. The spotlights bounce off her silver dress, which sends thousand light reflections into the audience. River Deep, Mountain High is the title of their first song. The show lasts for two-and-a-half hours – both fans and musicians leave the hall completely satisfied.
